Residency Term: January – March 2017
Meet & Greet with Artist: Wednesdays, and Thursdays 9:30am-3:30pm
Location: The Outlet at Leigh Square

The potter’s wheel has fascinated people throughout history, and Laura Giesbrecht plans on sharing her experience at the wheel with the community. Her wish is to enrich the communities knowledge of all things pottery. “I look forward to continuing to share my pottery skills with the number of residents that had become regular visitors during my residency at Leigh Square and forging new relationships through the world of pottery. Through this residency I will push the boundaries of what I consider my current style of ‘safe’ altered forms to bring my work beyond my comfort zone to create a vibrant ‘daring’ body of work.”
