After just missing a Port Coquitlam Council seat in 2014, Nancy McCurrach has announced she is running again.
McCurrach, who campaigned for a city council position in 2014, is well-known in the community for her work with the Tri-City Refugee Welcome Wagon.
Last year, the city named her the volunteer of the year in the safety and caring category.
Currently, she serves on the city’s transportation solutions and public works committee and, for seven years, was on the smart growth committee as a citizen advisor.
