This past Thursday Sept. 27th Poco Heritage and our exhibit partner PoCo Heritage Trees co-hosted a special Evening in the Museum, connected to our collaborative Carol Hubbard Memorial Natural History Exhibit: The Secret Life of Trees.

Our special guest and speaker for the evening was Dr. Cecil Konijnendijk, the Program Director of the Bachelor of Urban Forestry Program and the Project Leader of the Urban Forestry Research In Action lab at UBC. Dr. Konijnendijk provided his insights into the important roles that trees play in the urban landscape with his presentation, “Trees can do that!?”

Thank you so much to Dr. Konijnendijk for agreeing to be our speaker, to PoCo Heritage Trees for arranging this amazing speaker for us, and for the full house of very passionate and enthusiastic people who attended the evening! We hope to see you all back again for our next Evening at the Museum event!
