Metro Vancouver’s popular professional development program, Survivor 101, will launch its 2018-19 season in Port Coquitlam with The Vantage Point’s  Not-for-Profits Lifecycles 101 workshop:

Saturday, October 13
10:00am to 1:00pm
The Outlet in Leigh Square
#110 – 2248 McAllister Avenue
Port Coquitlam
$20 per person Register here

Organizations move through different stages of development: start-up to growth, decline to turnaround, growth to maturity. Every stage is part of a normal process, complete with unique benefits and challenges. By attending, you will be able to identify concrete steps you can take immediately to build capacity in governance, management, financial resources and/or administrative systems.

Also, you may be interested to know that, typically, to take this workshop by the Vantage Point (www.thevantagepoint.ca) it would cost  ~$100 to attend, so at $20, this is a very good deal. As well, these workshops are a great networking opportunity to meet others in the cultural scene around Metro Vancouver.

Registration is capped at 40 people (from all over the Metro Vancouver region) so do not delay in signing up.  This workshop is hosted by the City of Port Coquitlam, the City of Port Moody, the City of Coquitlam and Metro Vancouver.
