Port Coquitlam came out 100 years from the end of the WWI to remember all those who sacrificed so much for our freedoms. It started with a service at Wilson Centre, a parade to Veterans Park, another service at Veterans Park, and finally with activities at the Port Coquitlam Legion.
Here are some pictures from some of those in attendance: Bryan Ness, Mary Ness, Brad West, Mike Farnworth, Nancy Mccurrach, Michael Thomas, Laura Thomas, PoCo Building Supplies.

Tri-City News has story about heightened security.
Heightened security at Remembrance Day
Alert residents may have noticed heightened security at Remembrance Day ceremonies in the Tri-Cities this year. They weren’t imagining things. Coquitlam RCMP with carbines at the ready were stationed close to the ceremonies in Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam to protect those who were gathered to pay their respects.
