Members of Art Focus Artists’ Association have created a very large mural to embellish & enliven the front wall of the Tri-Cities Kidney Dialysis Clinic in Coquitlam. This mural is 46 feet long and depicts a lush landscape with mountains, cherry trees, flowers, animals, birds etc.
The project leader, Nickey Bayne, organized and planned the design with co-artists. The project took approximately 600 hours, starting in early spring, throughout the summer, and completed in late fall. Art Focus is proud that the mural is now installed in the Dialysis Clinic for patients and staff to enjoy.
An unveiling ceremony with Fraser Health staff and Art Focus members is being planned for January.
